Once approved by the Department of Animal Health, the goods owner needs to register for quarantine with the animal quarantine agency appointed by the Department of Animal Health in accordance with the provisions at Point B, Clause 3, Article 30 of Decree No. 33/2005/ ND-CP.

  • Types of import quarantine registration papers according to the prescribed form;
  • The written approval of the Department of Animal Health on the quarantine of imported animals and animal products;
  • A copy of the quarantine certificate of the exporting country (if any).

Within 5 days from the date of receipt of valid quarantine registration dossiers, the animal quarantine agency shall be responsible for notifying the goods owners of the place, time and contents of quarantine; inspecting the hygiene and sanitation when isolating and quarantining with the consignments brought to the quarantine isolation area for quarantine.
